Hello,
Our names are Mary Jackson and Ruth Swift. Together, we are Frugal Creations.
We are 50 something ????, sisters and retired. We love to re-create ideas and how-to projects at a much lower price than what it originally cost. We also want to give you ideas on decorating, cooking and sharing times with loved ones.
My sister Ruth and I are very excited about doing projects and showing you how to re-create these at home for much less and have the satisfaction of saying ‘I did it myself’. Over the coming months, we will show you projects, DIY’s, cooking, decorating and sharing helpful hints from cleaning the house to yard work.
I am a retired Counselor and Ruth is a semi-retired Registered Nurse. As you can see, we are both into helping people, we are just taking a slightly different path. We have an active imagination and an utter distaste for paying full price for anything that we can make ourselves.
As this site grows (hopefully), we will bring you loads and loads of entertaining ideas and budget saving methods, along with questions answered from medical issues all the way to raising kids.
Between us both, we have 8 kids and unlimited grand kids (sorry, I don’t think I can count that high), about 60 years of cooking, cleaning and numerous other techniques due to raising kids, supporting our families and trying to do the right thing.
I love to garden, cook, create do-it-yourself projects and shop for the newest and best bargain. Ruth loves to give advice, read, shop and enjoy her grand kids as much as possible.
We welcome any questions and/or comments on projects that are posted and will be happy to help you in any way. If you have any suggestions about what you would like to see , we will do our best to bring it to you. We would like to thank everyone who has viewed the projects and also those who has made comments concerning them.
I hope you enjoy www.frugalcreations.com so it may become your ‘one stop browsing’ experience.

You gave me a card at Wal-Mart and would like to check it out and help anyway I can.
Mary I met you today at the hospital and found you very delightful. This is a fantastic website. Look forward to exploring it!!

Thanks Karen,
Sorry, Unless one of our readers do a guest post on sewing, we do not sew. Never mastered the art of doing it. only the basics. We will however run some projects that involve making pillows, so watch for it.
We really appreciate you reading the site
